Electromagnetic Band-Gap (EBG) is commonly used in the wideband filter and other electronic devices. In this showcase, we use GEMS to simulate EBG which is constructed by a group of dielectric cylinders. The periodic boundary condition (PBC) is used to truncate the FDTD mesh.
